Longo Family Foundation (LFF)
Longo’s corporate charitable giving program, combined with the philanthropy of the Longo Family Foundation (LFF) represent a legacy of commitment and investment in our communities that began in 1956.
Unique to Longo’s, our approach engages our love of family and passion for food to fuel happier and healthier lives. We believe that family values are essential to community growth and by investing in and maintaining a leadership position of community involvement, we will help ensure the health and well-being of our communities will be sustained for years to come.
Through the years, the LFF has pledged gifts and donations impacting the lives of families served by over 100 charities across the GTA. The LFF continues to focus its giving primarily in the areas of:
- Emerging research (with a focus on immunotherapy and mental health) and support for families living with health challenges
- Child and youth leadership initiatives
100% of the proceeds from our signature fundraising event, Longo’s Annual “Fore Kids’ Sake” Charity Golf Tournament, are distributed through the Longo Family Foundation.
